Launch of the first boat of the project 12M

On September 8, the first boat of the project 12 M "George Lapodush" was launched - this name was given to the boat, named in honor of the honorary worker of the river fleet, the former head of the shipping inspection of the Amur basin.

He was a permanent member of the Mixed Soviet-Chinese Commission on shipping on the border areas of the rivers of the basin, did a lot to train specialists-rivermen, actively contributed to the development of scientific and technological progress in river transport.

He was awarded many state and departmental awards.
