In the interiors of the yachts, we use elite wood: mahogany, wenge, teak, cherry, Brazil nut. Upholstered handmade furniture is manufactured from genuine leather and collection fabrics of famous designers. Everything you need to finish the yacht interior – furniture accessories, fabrics, plumbing, and decorative items – meets the Company’s high-quality requirements. Based on interior solutions of the base project, Laky Verf’s designers themselves tailor it according to customer’s wishes. Laky Verf’s yacht building workshop with an area of 1,900 sq m. performs the whole range of works: electromechanical, painting, metal, and plumbing works, as well as pre-commissioning of equipment and mechanisms. The engineering office is located in the same building and operates in constant communication with production units. The office uses specialized software and has all kind of equipment that allows to process detailed designs and to develop documents.
Built in 2009, the hangar (boathouse) has a total area of about 3,000 sq m and allows the Company to simultaneously build two hulls with the maximum length of up to 75 meters. Here, we perform all works on the completion and repair of ships. In the inter-navigation period, the boathouse is used for winter storing of ships. Since the founding of the company, six yachts have been built under 23M Project. Currently, these yachts are successfully operated by their owners in Russia and abroad. In 2010, the Company decided to expand its product range, adding it with special ships. The range of special ships was opened by the 13M project developed by Ozernaya Verf’s engineering department. At the end of 2012, we laid the ship hull under a new project: a multipurpose speedboat under 14M project made of light alloy. This speedboat can be used as a patrol and service ship in the coastal sea areas, on lakes and in the mouths of large rivers, as well as for boat trips and fishing.
At the end of 2012, we laid the ship hull under a new project: a multipurpose speedboat under 14M project made of light alloy. This boat can be used as a patrol and service ship in the coastal sea areas, on lakes and in the mouths of large rivers, as well as for boat trips and fishing. The 14М project of multi-purpose speedboats is an improved continuation of the 13М speedboat project. The extension of the hull by one meter made it possible to radically revise the project, adding a rear stern under an awning with an area of 12.0 sq m, a sliding door behind the navigator’s seat for through passage from board to board. The fuel tank capacity was increased to 1,500 liters.
At the end of 2014, the Company launched a brand-new project: 17MJ, MUROM type. This is a modern high-speed boat with improved seaworthy parameters. The maximum speed of the boat is 40 knots (50 knots optionally). The boat is equipped with two Scania marine diesel engines with Hamilton Jet water jet propulsors. The engine power is 2×1,000 hp. Due to water jet propulsors, the 17MJ speedboat features greater maneuverability and controllability even during sharp turns at high speed. The engine is equipped with an EMS (Engine Management System), allowing to control all aspects affecting the engine performance. The maximum power at low engine speed range provides easy movement on water and quickly reaching the boat planning speed with the minimum fuel consumption. In 2015, we launched the construction of a high-speed combined Artic-850 rescue boat made of aluminum. The boat is intended for rescue and search work, service and travel operations, staff transportation.
The speedboat is intended for the following tasks:
- patrolling to identify, prevent, and suppress infringements, ensuring supervision of compliance with the regime in the coastal sea areas and inland waterways of the Russian Federation;
- participation in search and rescue operations;
- interception and inspection of intruder ships.
The maximum speed of the boat exceeds 30 knots. The construction is carried out under supervision of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
The speedboat is equipped with a wheelhouse with a navigation control system, a spacious saloon, a place to heat meals, a two-bed stern cabin, and a sanitary unit. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people in the daytime and up to 3 people at night. In 2016–2017, the speedboat was presented by Laky Verf at dedicated exhibitions where visitors and experts from various departments could evaluate the 12M project’s sea-keeping performance, the comfort and the quality of the boat execution. Laky Verf, recognized by the Russian River and Maritime Register of Shipping, follows the line of manufacturing yachts and patrol boats with a high quality of construction, that meet all functional and operational reliability requirements. Even though a little time has passed since the Company was established, it has already won several prestigious diplomas and awards in yacht building and took part in many international exhibitions.
